Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • 1.1. To be eligible for the complimentary rebate voucher, customers must meet one of the following criteria:
    • a) Successful activation or port-in the specified postpaid plans.
    • b) Make full payment on their bills by the due date specified on the invoice.
    • c) Successful subscribed of specified prepaid add-on plans.
  • 1.2. This offer is available to all customers who settle their bills in full and on time.

2. Payment
  • 2.1. Full payment must be received by the due date indicated on the invoice.
  • 2.2. Partially paid bills or payments made after the due date will not qualify for the complimentary rebate voucher.

3. Rebate Voucher
  • 3.1. A valid SMART KOTAK App member account must be active in order to redeem the voucher.
  • 3.2. Only postpaid or prepaid plans that subscribe under this campaign are eligible to enjoy the rebate voucher.
  • 3.3. The voucher will be issued latest within the first week of next month of receiving full payment. In the event of a delay in issuing the voucher, customers are advised to contact our customer service.
  • 3.4. Customers can only use the vouchers for one-time purchase only.
  • 3.5. Voucher validity is limited in time & such validity period shall be as prescribed in any individual voucher policy.
  • 3.6. SMART KOTAK reserves the right to revoke the use of voucher for any reason, including the following circumstances:
    • a) suspicious or fraudulent purchasing activity or voucher use;
    • b) voucher used in bad faith (including resold voucher)
  • 3.7. Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • 3.8. Eligible customers will receive a complimentary rebate voucher based on the amount stated below:
    • a) Postpaid plans (5G Postpaid38 SE & 5G Postpaid48 SE) successful activation or port-in : RM10 rebate voucher
    • b) Bill payment rebates for 5G Postpaid38 SE : RM3 rebate voucher
    • c) Bill payment rebates for 5G Postpaid48 SE : RM5 rebate voucher
    • d) Subscription rebates of redFast30 add-on for prepaid user : RM2 rebate voucher
    • e) Subscription rebates of ultra35 add-on for prepaid user : RM2 rebate voucher

4. Redemption
  • 4.1. Vouchers must be redeemed by the expiration date indicated on the voucher.
  • 4.2. To redeem the voucher, customers must present it at SMART KOTAK.
  • 4.3. Only original app voucher will be accepted.
  • 4.4. Voucher are stackable with other rebate vouchers if applicable within a same SMART KOTAK member account.

5. General
  • 5.1. SMART KOTAK reserves the right to change these terms & conditions or cancel any voucher at any time & without notice.

I don't want the redCALL service. Can I terminate it?

No. you cannot terminate the redCALL service. It is bundled with the 5G Postpaid SE and 5G Postpaid48 SE plan for you to enjoy unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia.

Is the unlimited voice calls to all networks valid for calls made when I am roaming?

The unlimited voce calls is valid for domestic calls in Malaysia only.

Does the unlimited voice calls include calls to fixed lines e.g. 03 numbers?

Yes. The unlimited voice calls is valid for domestic calls in Malaysia only.

Is there a Fair Usage Policy for the unlimited voice calls?

Yes, Fair Usage Policy of 100 hours per month is applicable.

What happens when I exceed the Fair Usage Policy for unlimited calls?

You can continue to call other networks numbers at RM0.15 per minute for the remaining days of the calendar month.

How will I know when I can use 5G?

redONE will send you an SMS notification stating that you can start using 5G services. Once you received this SMS, you can enjoy these services automatically with a 5G device within the 5G coverage area and the 5G icon will appear on your phone.

What if I don't see the 5G icon on my phone?

If the 5G icon doesn't appear automatically, you can set your phone manually to receive 5G coverage. First, make sure that you are within a 5G coverage area so you can have instant access to 5G. Then follow the steps below:


Setting > Connection > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > Select 5G/LTE/3G/2G (Auto Connect)

Why is my network experience inconsistent when switching between 4G and 5G?

The 5G network is currently in the roll-out process. Please expect occasional network interruptions when switching between 4G and 5G.
